Our recent renovations of Shea’s 710 Theatre (formerly the Studio Arena) have ensured that accessibility is a priority. All of Row E contains removable seating for patrons (please contact the Box Office to request accessible seating so we may be prepared to set-up pre-show!).
Shea’s 710 Theatre is the latest space to be added to the Shea’s PAC campus. Originally built as the Palace Burlesque and formerly home to the acclaimed Studio Arena, we were thrilled to have acquired this legacy space in 2011. Following a renovation of the entire building, Shea’s 710 Theatre has since re-opened as a welcomed addition to the Buffalo Theatre District! We have hosted many touring shows and enjoyed dynamic producing partnerships with other popular theatre companies such as the Shaw Festival, Road Less Traveled Productions, MusicalFare, and many more!
Before there was 710, there was the Studio Arena: founded in 1927 by Jane Keeler, Studio Arena enjoyed 81 years as Buffalo’s professional regional theater; producing many world premieres from such playwrights as Edward Albee, A. R. Gurney, Lanford Wilson as well as introducing many of today’s Hollywood and Broadway stars like Christine Baranski, Kathy Bates, Betty Buckley, Glenn Close, John Goodman, Kelsey Grammar, Julianne Moore, Christopher Walken, and many, many more.
